I had a fantastic stay at the hotel! The room had an awesome view of the US Capitol and Airforce Memorial, making our first trip to DC so much better. The front desk staff even surprised us with a free bottle of wine and a cheese and fruit tray. However, I was charged for a King room even though I booked a double, which was a bit of a letdown.

Rooms
9.0
The room with a view of the Capitol and Airforce Memorial was amazing. The free wine and cheese and fruit tray were a lovely touch.
Service
8.0
The service was awesome. The representative upgraded us to a City View room with a King-sized bed. However, some staff members seemed unaware of blocked hallways.
Location
9.0
The location is really great, very close to Washington DC. The shuttle service provided easy access to the airport and Pentagon City metro. However, I did feel a bit nickel and dimed for services by the time I checked out.
Dining

The dining experience could use a little work. Pricing for dining varied, with the cost being around $21 per person depending on the room type.

7.0/10

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The beautiful view and lovely scent in the room were great, but the outdated decor and lack of amenities like a refrigerator and microwave were disappointing. Despite the high price, breakfast wasn't included. On the bright side, having mirrors in both the shower area and over the sink was a nice touch.

Rooms
6.0
The room had a beautiful view and smelled great, but it was outdated and lacked essential amenities like a refrigerator and microwave. Not having breakfast included made the high price harder to justify.
Service
7.0
The staff was accommodating and friendly, but there were limitations such as not being able to customize box lunches or having buffet options. Despite this, their professionalism and politeness were commendable.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was convenient for accessing downtown DC, especially with the free shuttle service to the Pentagon City Metro station. However, the area being a mandatory evacuation zone could be a concern, though the proximity to the Pentagon was a plus.
Dining
7.0
Dining options were decent, with a choice between buffet, a la carte menu, and grab-and-go items. The price for dining, depending on the room type, was reasonable, but it might not suit everyone, especially for those looking for more inclusive options.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel had adequate facilities, but there were some limitations in terms of room amenities and dining choices that could impact overall satisfaction.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms were very clean and had a full range of amenities, although the location was a bit noisy at times. The service was absolutely amazing, with all the staff being helpful and friendly, although some areas like the elevator needed attention. The dining was limited but sufficient, and the facilities were great overall.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of experiences. Despite the ridiculously high airborne mold levels in the room, the outdated decor compared to the online photos, and feeling nickel and dimed for services, the awesome view and thoughtful gesture of a free bottle of wine and a cheese and fruit tray from the front desk staff made our first trip to DC unforgettable.

Rooms

The room was very outdated compared to the photos seen online, but the awesome view made it worthwhile.
Service

The facilities were satisfactory, though some areas may need an upgrade.
